Specialist teacher sessions:
As part of the broad curriculum we offer at Little Wombles the children take part in weekly specialist led sessions of Dance, Baby French, Music, Sport and we have recently introduced Studio Cultivate.

Studio Cultivate
Kindergarden is an exciting outdoor education program created to encourage Early Years children to enhance, interact with and take ownership of the green spaces that they inhabit. Kindergarden workshops take place in a school’s garden or playground and run twelve months a year, rain or shine.
The programme is divided into four seasonally themed modules, each exploring the world of gardens and the many fascinating living things that occupy them. Weekly workshops are filled with practical gardening activities, story telling, drama and art. Through these varied learning mediums Kindergarden pupils are able to absorb challenging academic content, expand vocabulary, develop fine motor skills, whilst engendering an appreciation of the living world around them.

Deborah Jayne
These classes are conducted to a mixture of classical and children's music to help stimulate imagination, develop rhythm and encourage musicality. The classes are taught through storytelling and mime that helps the child to learn in a creative atmosphere. Ballet is the core of all dance genres, at this particular age the basics of ballet is used to encourage balance, co-ordination, core stability, strength, cardiovascular, and technique, whilst improving the child's self-confidence. Most of all the children are encouraged to have fun and enjoyment giving them something to look forward to each week!

Tricolore
Madame Sophie, from le Club Tricolore, the longest running French Club for children in the UK, uses a proven method of teaching. Young children absorb and learn French effortlessly while having fun. Numbers, colours, animals, different expressions and lots more, are taught in a lively atmosphere with puppets, props, and plenty of rhythm, movement and humour. Vive le français!
